Description:- US 1849 Carriers' stamp 2c. "HONOUR’S CITY POST" Charleston, South Carolina - typeset stamps were the first of the small rectangular issues after the oval first issue. They are found on yellow and bluish pelure paper. Both are extremely rare. Semi official local issues exist in the following towns: Baltimore, Boston, Charleston, Louisville, New York and Philadelphia.
